Stephanie Franco launched SpotOn Events in 2004 after a long journey of learning and producing events in various capacities. Always game for learning new things and taking risks along the way, at the age of 19 she graduated from Pivot Point Beauty School and began a career as a cosmetologist.
She continued to style hair throughout her college years and had long standing clients from all types of professions. Five years later, after earning her Bachelors Degree from Loyola School of Business, she embarked on a dream of working in the hospitality industry.
Stephanie’s background is deeply rooted in the hospitality industry where she worked at the Drake Hotel and The Hilton Chicago for more than 5 years. She held numerous positions in Reservations, Exhibits and Convention Services.
In 2001, she moved from her hometown of Chicago to San Francisco to pursue a career in event planning. In 2004, she launched SpotOn Events – a long time goal of hers to be a business owner.
Stephanie’s goal is to stay informed and up-to-date on the latest meeting and event technology and industry trends. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has served on several committees. She earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2004.
She adores San Francisco and the Bay Area and currently lives and works in the Inner Sunset with her husband, son and daughter along with Huesito, the family pooch. She is an avid baker, cook, entertainer, and gardener and is currently studying photography and Italian. She is passionate about travel and has worked on projects all over the world.
